FIBC bags — questions
What is an FIBC bag?
An FIBC (flexible intermediate bulk container) is a large woven polypropylene bag that holds 500 to 1500 kg of dry bulk product. It is lifted by its loops with a forklift or crane. In Russian it is called биг-бэг or МКР (мягкий контейнер).
What does safety factor 5:1 mean?
The bag withstands at least five times its safe working load in testing. 5:1 is standard for single-use bags; 6:1 is used for bags that are reused.
Can you make FIBC bags to my drawing?
Yes. Send us the dimensions, load, top and bottom type, loops, liner and print — we make the bag to your specification.
What is the minimum order for big bags?
The minimum order for FIBC is quoted on request and depends on the design. Contact us with your volume.
